Launch of the WHO-ASPHER Roadmap to Professionalizing the Public Health Workforce in the European Region
11 feb 2022

The WHO-ASPHER Roadmap to Professionalizing the Public Health Workforce in the European Region was launched on 8 February 2022. The Road Map offers pragmatic recommendations for action to professionalize the public health workforce as a response to growing public health needs; it puts forward levers that can be engaged to do so.

SEEEPHI can be seen as an early pilot project putting elements of the Road Map into action. It was held up as an example of good practices at the Road Map launch, with ASPHER President John Middleton saying that every country needs its own SEEEPHI!
